The Utah Masonry Council’s Masonry Professional Certification Program is designed to elevate the standard of masonry leadership in Utah. This multi-course program offers education in leadership, construction practices, safety, and building codes—built to empower both individuals and companies to succeed.
Two certification tracks are available to meet your professional goals:
Certified Masonry Executive (CME)
Certified Masonry Professional (CMP)
Certified Masonry Executive (CME)
For experienced professionals in executive or management roles.
✔️ Complete 9 core courses (6 credits each)
✔️ Total of 54 credits within 3 years
✔️ Must be employed by a UMC member company
Certified Masonry Professional (CMP)
For field leaders, crew leads, or rising professionals.
✔️ Complete 7 core courses (6 credits each)
✔️ Total of 42 credits within 3 years
✔️ Must be employed by a UMC member company
Eligibility & Requirements
To receive certification:
Participants must be employed by a current UMC member company
All required courses must be completed within a 3-year period
Candidates must sign the UMC Code of Ethics Attestation upon program completion
